This is a great park - it might not have a view, but the amenities make up for it. It has several toilet blocks spread out around the park, with a big central kitchen, dining area and lounge - needed because it rained while I was there. The kitchen was very thoroughly cleaned in the evening and seemed to be well equipped, although I only used it to cool my beer! Wifi was unlimited and worked well. It is a few minutes out of town, so best for those who have a vehicle.

We stayed for two nights on a powered site with a motorhome. Laundry facilities were fine, however toilets and showers in the same room, what I personally dislike. The playground and bbq area would need some love. Rusty, missing planks and visible nails. Its located between some industrial sites, so from my perspective not the best place for a holiday park.

Awesome place - good for tents and awesome place if you have dogs as well! Reasonable kitchen area with all you need nothing flash!! Bathrooms were average - could do with a bit more cleaning during busy periods! Would stay here again! 😊

Super modern, clean and well maintained. Facilities were incredible and well designed. Our favourite place we stayed on our whole month trip! Also a super entertaining playground for kids!

Stayed in non powered area with a small dog and were lucky enough to have fenced off section which was awesome for our dog. Didn't mind paying little bit extra for it. Great facilities. Cleaning not its strong point but I've seen worse, overall we loved it there.

The fridge in the room was dirty, the sofa was uncomfortable and stained, they provide you with tea and coffee but no milk, you can purchase this as an extra at reception for $2.50 I feel for the price we paid this should be included. The light outside the room is too bright making it hard to sleep. The wall are thin in the cabins we could hear our neighbours It is expensive, only good thing is it is pet friendly

As a newer holiday park, it does not have major maintenance issues found in smaller, older, independent holiday parks. One very interesting feature was the toilets were all unisex with about half including a shower area. Water pressure was high as cautioned in shower postings.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hokitika Holiday Park. For the price we paid, we got a very large cabin fully equipped with: fridge, toaster, kettle, cups, bowls etc. Our bedding was not included, but we had no issue getting some from the …
